Christopher Johnston

Chris Johnston is Manager, Client Relations, Skills Tasmania. Chris' main roles are to provide executive support to the Board and broad corporate support to the Board and staff of Skills Tasmania. Chris has had over twenty years' experience in skills development activities through his employment in the Commonwealth Government, the National Employment and Training Taskforce (NETTForce) and as an Education and Training Advisor with the Tasmanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Prior to his involvement in this sector, Chris worked for the Australian Bureau of Statistics, with a particular interest in demography. Chris has been Tasmania's FLAG representative since March 2007.

Chris has a Bachelor of Arts degree.
