Jenny Dodd

Jenny Dodd was appointed the ACT Flexible Learning Advisory Group member early in 2008. Jenny is a senior manager at the Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) and as Centre Director her areas of responsibility include marketing, national projects, and research. She is a member of CIT’s Academic Board.

As the FLAG representative Jenny chairs the ACT Framework Committee which leads the implementation of e-learning in the ACT, interacting with the public provider, private RTOs, VET in schools and the Department of Education and Training.

Jenny has had extensive experience managing national business activities for the Australian Flexible Learning Framework including the successful Industry Engagement project from 2005 to 2007, and Flexible Learning Leaders and Legal Issues in Flexible Learning in the first Australian Flexible Learning Framework strategy. Jenny is currently responsible for a team which is leading the ACT in e-learning up-take and administering the ACT e-learning co-ordination role and innovation grant funding. Jenny also manages the Industry Integration of e-learning business activity in the 2008 Australian Flexible Learning Framework Business Plan.

Jenny has an industry background in marketing and public relations. She has been at CIT for 15 years beginning as a casual VET teacher, becoming an Education Manager, Project Manager and now Centre Director. Jenny has degrees in education, marketing and human resource management.
