Rodney Spark

Rodney is the Executive Director of e-Works with responsibilities that include strategic planning and implementation of ICT (information communication and technology) and the development and roll out of e-learning systems across the Victorian VET system, including establishment of the TAFE Virtual Campus.

Rodney is the Victorian representative on FLAG (Flexible Learning Advisory Group and AICTEC (the cross-sectoral Australian ICT in Education Committee). He is the Program Director for the Framework’s 2008 Leadership Program which will focus on infrastructure activities to provide the foundations and catalyst for sustainable e learning that produces innovative learning opportunities for individuals and business.

Prior to his current role, Rodney was the Assistant General Manager, Program Development for the Office of Training and Tertiary Education, Victoria.
Rodney believes that the successful integration of online technologies in VET is a complex but essential change management process if providers are to remain relevant in the emerging information age.

Rodney has been the Victorian FLAG representative since its inception in 1996.
Rodney’s qualifications include Diploma of Education (TAFE), Graduate Diploma of Instructional Design & Technology and Graduate Diploma of Applied Science (Technology Studies).
